During the 1970s, I connected with a number of artists who would shape my professional path: Ramon Carreté, Josep Royo, Joan Miró, and Martí Royo. At the same time, I was studying ceramics and tapestry at the School of Arts and Crafts of the Tarragona Provincial Council.
In 1979, I opened my first artistic ceramics studio, Taller Abat, which I later expanded by incorporating a School of Applied Arts, an Interior Design Studio, and a cultural association, Lleure Artístic, dedicated to the promotion and teaching of traditional artistic crafts.
In 2021, I brought to a close my work as a teacher, promoter, and interior designer, relocating my residence and practice to Barcelona and returning to the original idea of the studio: full dedication to the design and creation of artistic ceramics.
